Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes Allied Health Professions (AHP) Faculty have launched a patient survey to explore the role and scope of Advanced Practice Allied Health Professionals in order to shape how they develop their workforce and provide effective and sustainable health and social care services.
The survey has been created by the BLMK AHP Faculty in collaboration with Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care System (ICS) and the local Council of Allied Health Professionals.
The AHP Faculty was established in March 2021 and aims to support improvement and development for the AHP workforce, patients and commissioners across four key areas including equality and diversity; development of roles; shared resources and learning; and expanding placements and retaining students post-qualification.
The aim of the survey is to make sure all of their patients, are seen by the right professional, with the right skills at the right time. They want to ensure the local population can share their views and have the opportunity to be involved in this piece of work.
This survey is open to those who live within Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. The survey will close at midnight on 31st October 2021.
