Allied Health Professions (AHPs’) Day on 14 October 2021 will be celebrated in BLMK with an Allied Health Professionals Conference organised by the new AHP Faculty.
AHPs are the third largest healthcare workforce and AHP Day provides an opportunity for AHPs to come together and showcase the impact they make to the delivery of high quality care.
The AHP Faculty was established in March 2021 and aims to support improvement and development for the AHP workforce, patients and commissioners across four key areas including equality and diversity; development of roles; shared resources and learning; and expanding placements and retaining students post-qualification.
The Allied Health Professionals Conference is aimed at all AHPs working in BLMK including students, support workers and qualified professionals.
The free event, funded by the BLMK ICS Workforce Development Academy, has been developed and will be delivered by AHP colleagues across the region and will be held from 10am to 1pm. It aims to offer a fully interactive learning experience that is both unique and bespoke.
