Book an NHS Covid Jab Without Delay

Date: 14/04/2021 | Category: CCG News

During April NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is focusing on second doses of the coronavirus vaccinations, that are delivered 12 weeks after people get their first jab. Appointments are also still available for those in the initial cohorts who have not yet been protected.

The CCG is encouraging all those in cohorts 1 – 9, which covers everybody aged over 50, people who are clinically extremely vulnerable and health and social care workers to book their appointment as soon as possible. There are still vaccinations available for those people who have not yet come forward. It is vital that as many people as possible are vaccinated in order to give the widest protection.

Invitations to people aged 45 – 49 will also begin this week, and more will follow as supplies allow. If you receive one, please do act on it as soon as possible so that you can join the millions of others who are helping to protect themselves and others, and continue our progress back towards normal life.

Booking can be made by calling 119 or visiting the booking website:

If you already have an appointment over the coming weeks for your second dose, this remains in place and it’s important that you attend it as planned. To get maximum protection everyone will need to get a second dose. Over 3.5 million people have already had both doses, and the CCG is urging people to come back when they are contacted or if they have an appointment booked.
