Patient Participation Groups
Patient participation (or reference) groups, sometimes known as PPGs or PRGs, have been established at most of our GP practices in BLMK.
They’re a great way for patients to provide feedback, ideas and views on the services their local practice provides, and to support the practice in giving patients the best possible service.
This includes carrying out an annual survey to gather patients’ views, following which the PPG works with the practice to develop an action plan.
Each practice varies in the way their group is organised, for example how often they meet, number of members, activities and projects.
