Had your vaccination abroad? You can now record it on your NHS records

Date: 09/02/2022 | Category: CCG News

Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes are one of the few areas in the country that can offer a number of different venues to register vaccinations received abroad on to an NHS record.

The new service enables you to book an appointment to show evidence for coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations administered outside of England. This will enable the NHS to securely update your vaccination record.

Currently the service can only record vaccines provided under the following brand names –

  • Comirnaty – Pfizer/BioNTech
  • Janssen – Johnson & Johnson
  • Spikevax – Moderna
  • Vaxzevria – Oxford/AstraZeneca

Even if you have had one of the vaccines above under another brand name, unfortunately at the moment, this cannot be recorded. It is predicted that this will change over the coming weeks, so please keep an eye on the BLMK website as the information is updated constantly.

You can use this service if you are aged 18 years old or over and have an NHS number. To book an appointment to update your vaccination record, visit the NHS website or call 119.

These appointments can be made at:

Bedford Heights, Manton Lane, Bedford MK41 7BJ

Redgrave Centre, 27 Redgrave Gardens, Luton LU3 3QN

Saxon Court, 502 Avebury Boulevard, Milton Keynes MK9 3HS

Watling House, High Street North, Dunstable LU6 1LF
