We are looking to appoint 5 Primary Care Strategic Clinical Leads

We are looking to appoint 5 Primary Care Strategic Clinical Leads to support Primary Care Network development as follows:

  • LTC (Respiratory, CVD and Diabetes) – 4 sessions per week
  • Mental Health and Learning Disabilities – 3 sessions per week
  • Children and Young People (focus on Mental Health) – 2 sessions per week
  • Primary Care Access – 1 session per week
  • Workforce and Innovation Hub – 2 sessions per week

Roles Commence: All roles will commence from 1st July 2022

Length of Roles: Initially until 31/3/24

Pay Rate: As per Remuneration Committee approved rates (Currently £260/session)

Clinical Leadership and Primary Care Network development remain central as we transition to the Integrated Care Board.  The successful candidate(s) will be currently working a minimum of 2 sessions per week as a GP in BLMK. You will be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge in the specific area you are applying for and that you have the innovation and credibility to provide clinical leadership to these key priority areas.

These clinical leadership roles will be responsible for:

  • Providing primary care clinical leadership to transformation and service re-design
  • Providing Primary Care perspectives to System, Place and Alliance to shape and deliver priorities and improve the outcomes for the population
  • Leading a population health management approach to priority setting and delivery
