NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group ceased to exist at midnight on 30 June 2022.  From 1 July 2022, its functions have been transferred to NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board which is part of our new Health and Care Partnership.  This website is no longer being maintained and will be archived shortly.

Diabetes Retinal Screening

All people aged 12 and over with diabetes (type 1 and 2) are offered annual eye screening appointments. The only exceptions are people with eye disease who are already under the care of an ophthalmology specialist. Diabetic Eye Screening is NHS annual screening programme and its part of your annual check. Please speak to your GP or nurse to get referral.
